WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE CHILD PROTECTION COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT


Are committed to ensuring that all children and young people in West Dunbartonshire are given the best start in life; some children and young people however require additional help and support to achieve this aim. 

 

We have developed our web pages to provide information and advice to the public, agencies and professionals in respect of child protection activity locally, including information about how we develop our services and ensure that we are being effective.

We recognise that it is not always easy to contact services to report a concern; members of the public should be assured that any referral or information regarding the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person will be listened to very carefully and taken very seriously.
